The NGSA mobile app students to practice past grade 6 exams in the subjects of Maths, English, Science & Social Studies. It also allows parents to view exam results. Teachers may view results if provided an access code by student’s parent or guardian. To provide you with these services, we collect your information and share it with others [parents & teachers].

Information We Collect and Use
We collect information from you so that we can provide you with services on. These services include logging you in, and storing your exam results.
- Information That You Give Us
When you register for an account, we collect your email address. We also collect your name, region, and school information which you provide to us.

We collect information about your device, such as:
- Your device model
- Operating system
- Device ID number
- The identity of your carrier or service provider

We use this information to improve our services and track usage of the NGSA app. For example, we may use device model information to analyze device-specific issues with the NGSA app.

When you use the NGSA app, our server automatically collects:
- Details of how you used the app, such as the pages that you accessed and any search queries you made.
- Details of when you used the NGSA app, such as the exact times that you accessed certain pages.
We only use this information to analyze and track usage of our services. We do not associate the information with you or any particular user unless required to do so by law.
- Local Storage
We use local storage on your device to store data, including cookies and cached data. For example, when you click “Remember me” on the login screen, the NGSA app saves your login information on your device.
We automatically place a cookie on your device when you login to the NGSA app, which collects and stores your username (the email address you use to register your account). We use the cookie to log you in to the service, as well as keep you logged in.
We may also use the cookie to track your usage of the NGSA app.
Information That We Share
We share the information that you and other users provide to us—for example, with your permission, we may should your test results to your teacher and / or tutor.
Remember that anyone who reads the information that you post can disclose it to other people, outside of our control and without your knowledge. Therefore, we recommend that you think carefully about the information that you choose to share with us.

We do not post any of your private information such as your test scores, email address or school on any public pages.

Controlling Your Personal Information
You can control your personal information and privacy on the NGSA app by:
- Deleting your account.
When you delete information from the NGSA app, it will disappear. No other NGSA users will be able to access it. However, the information may remain on our servers or in backup drives for up to  days before being deleted.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information that we collect and transmit. We encrypt all data transmitted between your device and our secure servers.
Minors Under the Age of 13
The NGSA app is designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, therefore parents must register their children and monitor their behavior and performance on the app.
