Cyber Solutions Donates ICT Expertise and Equipment To Team Guyana Robotics “enthusiastic youths”

Georgetown, Guyana: April 10 —  STEMGuyana today received a donation of nearly $200, 000 in IT and electronic equipment from local IT Company Cyber Solutions to help Team Guyana Robotics prepare for the First Global Robotics Olympics in Washington, DC.  Mr Ryon Persuad, co-founder of Campbell Avenue, Georgetown based Cyber Solutions stated, “I donated these items because of the enthusiastic youths and their dedication towards winning and learning from this competition. I want to build ICT capacity in Guyana and this is my first step of many more to come in support of this awesome team.”

Cyber Solutions donated a laptop, a white board, a multi-meter and most importantly valuable IT expertise to help the team think through it’s strategy for the upcoming robotics competition planned for Washington DC in July of 2017.

Team Guyana’s Manager, UG CS Student and President of UG’s Robotics Club, Ms Farnaz Baksh stated, “we appreciate the generosity of companies like Cyber Solutions. Our team members are enthusiastic and determined but there are several things we will need to help us to adequately prepare for competition and we are thankful that Mr Ryon Persaud and his Cyber Solutions came forward and offered their support’
