At STEMGuyana, our Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy is rooted in democratizing access to future-ready skills for all children—regardless of geography or economic status. Through interactive courses and hands-on projects, we introduce students as young as 11 to the fundamentals of AI, including machine learning, data training, chatbot development, and ethical use of smart technologies. Our AI curriculum blends Scratch and Python programming with real-world problem solving, helping young learners grasp complex concepts through creativity and collaboration. By empowering children to build with AI—not just consume it—we are preparing a generation of innovators who can shape the future, not just survive it.
We also leverage AI to improve academic outcomes through our flagship Pathway Online platform. Pathway uses AI tutors and intelligent feedback systems to personalize learning for students in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. Lessons are aligned to Guyana’s national curriculum and adapt to each child's pace and ability, while providing real-time insights to parents and teachers. This AI-powered model is helping to close learning gaps, boost confidence, and make education more accessible—anytime, anywhere. Our strategy is not only to teach AI—but to use it to transform how education is delivered in Guyana and across the Caribbean.
