Team Guyana’s representative Karen Abrams stated, “our goal is to expose our young people to advanced robotics technology, global networks, and soft skills like collaboration, communication and group problem solving–all assets they will need to prepare them for the new global technology future that awaits them. We also intend to continue to pass on what we’ve learned to more than 100 technology clubs across every region of Guyana in 2019.”
STEMGuyana’s participation would not have been made possible without the generosity of our progressive sponsors who not only contributed financially, but also with technical expertise and materials during the four months of recruitment, preparation and participation.
